Oh good, I’m so glad that other people have been wondering the same thing, ahah. I sometimes wonder that about Hiyao Miyazaki (sp?) as well; the majority of his protagonists seem to be little girls.

Dont forget that Ni no Kuni (The only reason I want a PS3) is made by both Level-5 and Studio Ghibli, so Akihiro Hino is a HUGE Ghibli fan (The Azrans  Super Weapon is a GREAT example)

I finally finished my Overblood blog, you guys should check it out because it involves Akihiro Hinos early years before founding Level 5 and creating Professor Layton, but since its dead don’t follow it

I created a blog that will show case the best So Bad its Good game ever, Overblood. you Professor Layton fans should check it out, because it was during the creators early years in the now defunct Riverhillsoft before he founded Level 5, and created Professor Layton. (he was much more involved in its sequel as Lead Designer, Scenario, and Director, in the first he was just a lead programmer)
