Here’s my very belated Christmas Gift.

Megaton Musashi in Lasts Novembers Weekly Famitsu

Hope this gets translated someday

Today is my Birthday.

One of my goals is too start a fanbase

So here’s a making of Megaton Musashi subbed by the same fansubber whos doing the series.

This series is my favorite Mech anime and the reason why this never got picked up by any official licensor of anime I’ll never understand. (other than poor taste in anime choices)

Wow that was intense, Hiro went through so much in the game compared to the anime, thank you so much for the links breaking it down! Honestly in the anime episode there was no justification for why he stole half the clothes he did so this makes a lot more sense, of course he has to steal a shirt and jacket when LBX destroy his clothes, he can't walk around shirtless in public. The game is the original right?, weird the anime changed it completely to something worse. L-5 never treats my boy well.

The Game is the OG. Level 5 is a video game company, the changes made is made by OLM (the company that animated the anime).

PS: Retsuden of Justice is non-canon due to being a photo novel, there LOW on the canon scale (VG Canon is highest, then A Canon, then M Canon, the rest DCD, Novels, PH are secondary and the lowest in the scale)

The scale is based on this

And that’s what I’ve been doing with my scan group The L5 Project. Translating untranslated material is the best way to show love and support for your favorite franchise, whether it be Manga, Drama CD, or the many interviews in magazines.

I would also like to run a campaign to get YW4, LMJ DX+,YW1 switch and iOS, and Megaton Musashi in the west, but idk how to make good quality YT videos, or you can try sending physical things like puzzle pieces to L5s offices I heard of those campaigns before.

Also Level 5 has there own Webtoon like site called Manga 5 and buy some coins to support them and maybe even scanlate them cause where focusing on complete works and where already full as it is.

Oh and there’s a petition to sign to bring YW4 but petition success rate is very slim to none, still it’s a nice gesture. What I mean is in order for a company to survive you need more to support Layton, you can still buy the Ni no Kuni games on Steam.

Now that Layton novels are completely translated, I have volume 1 of cheerful mystery (found it on the web) and the manga adaptation of Layton’s Mystery Journey. All the other Layton Manga and Novels are physical only, so if anyone wants to scan them(and other physical Level 5 manga) pls let me know.

Oh and JTLs for the other manga that I have like The Snack World, Ni no Kuni, and LBX Girls. I also have novels as well for Fantasy Life, Inazuma Ogre Movie, Ushiro, Ni no Kuni movie, and Gundam Age, and even artbooks on White Knight Chronicles, Ni no Kuni Movie, and Otome Yusha.

and thus this ends my Birthday message and it would be a great present to join The L5 Projects Discord and just hangout or help me with all the above. So Yeah. https://discord.gg/WgcP9eb

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ME!!

There was a pilot for an english dub of mystery journey that was leaked awhile back and I think it’s not pick up because of that or other reasons.

I want that new Level-5 game but it’s in Japanese and my mom wont let me buy it, and even then I have to mod the Switch in order to download a fan game patch and that would be a lot of work.)

Yokai Watch 4… Oh, Level-5. What happened?

Pls sign this petition

Even though level 5 got shut down in the US,at least I’ll still support Yokai Watch.

Maybe it’ll get a chance to be localized again someday.

It better be localized by some publisher to help Level-5, I’m not willing to wait a million years for a fan translation.

I wish I was in Japan right now

This manga is an interview manga on Hino himself, with his journey to games, his own studio, and how his mass media projects are a success

These images came from these bizarre comics hidden in the Puni Puni Website (no it’s not Dōjinshi, its an actual thing)

1. The first one features Akihiro Hino as a mob boss or yakuza thug gunning gun some people for some reason and gets arrested. (link)

2, The last one is a weirdly drawn adult Jibanyan getting on a subway, talks to some people and gets arrested (the pic shows the ending) (link)

You can translate for fun if you dare

HAPPY 50TH BIRTHDAY AKIHIRO HINO

As much as I had wanted to tease this…
