Effect: This card is treated as a Normal Monster while face-up on the field or in the Graveyard. While this card is a Normal Monster on the field, you can Normal Summon it to have it become an Effect Monster with this effect. ● If damage calculation is performed involving this card, at the end of the Battle Phase: You can inflict damage to your opponent equal to this card’s original ATK. You can only use this effect of “Red-Eyes Black Flare Dragon” once per turn.

This dragon is just as powerful as the “Red-Eyes B. Dragon“, with the possibility of gaining a devastating special effect allowing you to do 2400 damage to your opponent once every turn it battles. “Red-Eyes Spirit”, “Silver’s Cry”, “Return of the Red-Eyes”, or “Swing of Memories” can return this monster to the field ripe and ready to gain its effect if you haven’t normal summoned anything yet, and cards like “Dragon Shrine” will help you get him to the grave so you can do that….also looking closely I never realized till now it had eyes on its lower jaw. Tomorrow we look at a shiny upgraded form of this monster.
